Parent Communicaton
One of the best parts of my job is building relationships with my students and their families. Parent communication is a huge part of that. I like to give parents lots of information about what is going on in my classroom. If you have any questions or concerns please let me know. Feel free to call or email me. For me, email works best because I can save it and use it as a reminder for myself. I check my email at least three times a day, if not more and I try to return all emails within the day they are sent. Our classroom website has lots of information. This should also help answer any questions you may have.
If you have important information that is time sensitive, such as a change in pick up at the end of the day, it is best to call the school office.
Sometimes misunderstandings can occur between a student's parent and teacher. If there is anything you are worried or confused about please contact me and I would be happy to help or clear up any misunderstandings.

Parent Volunteers
I love to have parent volunteers. I am convinced the volunteers in our classroom are what really help to make a school year memorable and meaningful for the students. Volunteering can be helping in the classroom by working with students, organizing class events/parties, making copies, reading to the students, or preparing materials. Parents you can also help our students outside of the classroom. This could be sending in supplies, or helping with projects at home. If you are interested in helping please let me know times when you are available and I will add you to the schedule.
